Thanks trustfm, will give that a try.
I used HCEnc coz it was recommended as best on AfterDawn.

I have converted a number of AVIs to DVD 5 with no problem using HCEnc.

Now all of a sudden I have one which gives 5.4GB output.

The AVI is in fact smaller than most of the previous AVIs at 672,598KB.

GSpot and VirtualDub report no problems with the AVI.

Any ideas where I should look ???

Received I/O ERROR 112 while converting AVI to DVD-5.
About 1.2GB of ISO file was created.
Tried on two different PCs, same result.
Other AVIs converted OK.
Any ideas please ??? !!!
