Ok, I finally figured it out. It's confusing, but I understand why it was done this way now (though it's still confusing but works ok). So for anyone who needs help, here it is. Well, that - time seems backwards. I was expecting it to be one of these:
1) Simply photo duration (hoping you already had the transition time calculated in)
2) Photo 1 duration + transition time + photo 2 duration + ...
I'll give it a try and post back.

Duration Does not seem to work properly
So, lets start with a very simple example. Add 6 photos to the output. Now double-click each one and do the following: Click in the Ends: box and enter 3000. Click Set These Options. Click Close. Repeat for all photos. NOte that these photos will have randomly selected transitions added to them ...
