I like AVI2DVD with CCE, excellent program but it is starting to fall behind. At least with the filmMachine it uses my favorite CCE , and is always being updated, the guy who wrote it is always there to help sort out any problems I feel the same about Convertxtodvd, easy to use but quality is below ...

DoctorM, have you had any problems with The FilmMachine?..just curious

Looks like I spoke to soon, for some reason the last few completed dvd's are oversize again even with the reduced audio...so I don't know.

I think your having trouble joining 2 avi files using avi2dvd,? if so i had the same trouble get NanDub and join them together then avi2dvd will see it as 1 file.

I had the same problem and after searching (here i think) i found the answer, and that is to lower the audio bit rate down to 128... = perfect sized dvd every time
