Hey guys. I have used TMPEGnc to convert my AVI files to mpg files to make VCDs. but lately some of the AVI files that i convert seem to lose their audio in the conversion. what do you think is going wrong.

I am new to this, and want to convert my avi movie files to dvd video files so i can burn them to blank DVD+R disks. When i load an AVI it gives me a warning stating to make sure that my path/file has no strange symbols... I know my files name has no strange symbols. once i click ok, nothing else ...
