I have 6 AVI files that I am trying to join, convert and then burn to a DVD. The menu creation function allows you to make a button for each chapter. I calculated the number of seconds each episode was and entered a chapter at the start of each episode when I ran the program. Check out the user guide on the homepage, it basically tells you how.

Its a bit crude, but you can put a chapter at the start of each 'episode' . Calculate the number of seconds long each one is (the first one is zero)and use the chapter buttons in the menu you build. It's in the guide on the homepage.

Ok. So installing version 0.4.4 (clean install) has resolved the problem described in my original post. The file converted ok and seems to be the correct size. I have previewed it in WMP, its all ok!!

I did use AVI2DVD to joint multiple AVIs togther and create a chapters / menu buttons for the start of each. It was a bit cumbersome and it looked like it worked ok. However the audio was out of sync with the video more and more with each episode. This fist couple were ok, but the 5 & 6 episodes ...

There is a tutorial with screen shots available on the homepage. You just need to have all the files in one folder with the last 4 characters of each like _CD1, _CD2, _CD3. On the first tab of the program when selecting which file to process pick the first one (_CD1). The program will do the rest ...

When I went to version 0.4.3 I did a full uninstall and I assume that is best practice. Is there anthing I need to do to save my menus created in 0.4.3 prior to installing 0.4.4?
