Suggestions and recommendations for the avi2dvd
Friends all over, please post here any suggest and/or recommendations that you would like to have with avi2dvd.
I will start:
?Resume option is a must! Imagine a power down in your house with no UPS after 4 hours of encoding #!@#$%#@$.
?The ability to control chapter's amount and delay from one to the next. --> Available Today!
?Developing some kind of a menu editor to enable Menu designed for DVD.
?Audio [1]: The ability to output stereo sound even if the input is AC3.
Very important if you don?t have a surround stereo system at home...
Also to control the output Bitrate.
?Audio [2]: Multiple sound track support can be astonishing...
?Preview: The ability to preview output before starting the long process of encoding.
This option was available in the DVD2SVCD tool (End of life unfortunately) and it was extremely useful that you could see the output- aspect ration, subtitle location and size etc...
?Image: The ability to change/determine ISO CD Label. --> Available Today!
?Encoders: Support for the latest CCE releases (2.7.X+).
That's it for my "humble" requests
The highest priorities for me are highlighted.
Now it's your turn mates
Cheers to our new hero

Sugestions for improvement
1. yes, final file size with 2 files: the avi/m2v (movie) file and the mp2 (sound) files, so it's possible to put two or more movie into a DVD;PorkOne wrote:Two things:
1. I would like to enter final file size (not only profiles like DVD9, SVCD etc.) in avi mode (I like to put 2 or 3 movies on 1 dvdr)
2. I would like to choose audio encoding option like mp2 (2 channels) or ac3 (5.1) for DVD
2. preview of movie with the location of subtitles;
And continuation of good work!
