For those who would like to do as trustfm reply and update the new encoder release now please do the following:
--Download it from here:
http://nic.dnsalias.com/QuEnc.zip
--Unzip the "QuEnc.exe" file to here and overwrite if asked for:
C:\Program Files\Avi2Dvd\Backup\Programs
--Now reopen avi2dvd if was open.

Added : New version of QuEnc Encoder

Just try the new V0.2.3, it seems QuEnc is set to the old version - 0.59 Beta 2.
Can it be or is it just my problem?

HC is out with a new cool version, V0.13 Beta.

Release notes:
HC and HCbatch beta 0.13 - release date 17-04-2005
- faster encoding
- bitrate control updated
- encoding profiles updated: FAST - NORMAL - BEST
- QLB matrix updated
- added *NOSEQ_ENDCODE command to suppress output of the sequence endcode
- some other minor bugs fixed

Super new cool interface with many fixes etc...

Release Notes:
