I would suggest an option like "custom video bitrate".

I transcode TV episodes with your program, but I always have to stop the encoding process when my CCE Trial starts and set a correct bitrate.
I would love to see an option where I can set the parameters "Min/Max/Average Bitrate" for CCE.
So it would be possible to encode 6-8 TV episodes to fit on one DVD.

I hope you understand what I mean :)

I would like the ability to edit the AVS file after it has been created but before it is used with the encoder (I'm using HCEnc). The best would be the ability to edit the AVS file before the job was added, since the AVS file can be generated based on the options selected.

I don't really know about this, I'd just thought I'd ask because I got all those h.264 movies laying on my hdd and I really like using avi2dvd (its a real pain in the ass having to manage all the process by hand when it takes so much time)

When I use a subtitle file witch contains "format tags" like "<i>Here's the text</i>" it won't work, 'cause the subtitle is shown as unformatted text. The subtitle is supposed to look like this "Here's the text" but it look like this "<i>Here's the text</i>". It would be good if you could fix this it's really annoying...

I have only 1 request

This is an excellent application lacking just one more thing. The only request I have to to enable D2SRoBa for faster conversion. If that is implemented in your app, i will drop all other avi 2 dvd apps and just use yours.

I would like to have AVI2DVD be able to pull me a perfect espresso each time I use it!
But if not possible, how about having the Roba OPV option included,to be able to use w/ CCE?

After 5 mins trying to use this I have the following:
1) Correct use of Windows file name conventions - ie not telling you to rename the file when it has NO strange characters in it, just spaces (maybe this is the user folder being detected as having %path% naming convention I can't tell). Also this could be a limitation of the associated codecs/utils used etc. If not, sort it out please, as it's so simple.

2) I tried outputting to a 5gb partition (made to write ISOs to), and it said it needed the 9gb+ space instead. OK, I understand. What I think is really annoying is that I then put it on a 57gb free space partition and IT GIVES THE SAME MESSAGE! Why? A little more than 9gb free there...
