Famous HCEnc bug

I read the sticky about the bug in HCEnc that cause the error message at the end of encoding, but I don't know how to disable the dll that was referenced. I'm running AVI2DVD 0.4.3 beta and HC batch 0.16. Also, I downloaded the latest Divx 6.1 codec.

I don't understand this line in the sticky:

xvid;-;XVID Mpeg-4;5.2.1.1328;-;C:\WINDOWS\system32\xvidvfw.dll

Is this something I need to enter on the command line in DOS or what? Thanks a lot.

I just uninstalled my NIC's Xvid codec and the bug weant away. Not an optimal solution but it worked.... perhaps this isnt what was meant in post you quote, it didnt seem clear to me as well. Is there another way/solution?
