MKV to DVD

Post by sandmanweb »

I'm trying to convert a video and I can't find a way.

I have all the needed codecs. I can watch it with media player classic.

Video: MPEG4/ISO/AVC
Audio: AAC/MPEG2/LC/SBR

I tried to demux the video, but I can't opend it after that...

I tried a lot of soft, Virtualdubmod, AVItoDVD, TMPGENC, Video Cleaner, Nero... nothing work.

I tried to remux with only 1 audio track and no subs.. still won't work.

Please help me.

I also have problems with MKV-files. I've tried to make six 20 min episodes to a single dvd with 1 audiostream and 2 subtitles (english, german). The 2 first times it worked great, but I chosed the wrong type of font for the subtitles. Then suddenly it wouldn't complete the encoding anymore.. Avi2dvd havn't worked ever since..

Yes I started to think that the subtitles was the problem, but I can't convert regular movies (with or without subs) anymore either :S I don't know what the problem is.. but it started after trying to encode the mkv files. I began to wonder if my codecs don't work properly, but the encoding is not he problem. It's when it starts to author the encoded files to dvd that it stops
