extract subtitle from AVI???

i've downloaded a concert and when i watch it from my
media player, it has a subtitle in it.

is there a way I could extract the subtitle from an avi file?

this avi 99% is an hardcoded avi this means that your subtitles are on the move

No, but you can use AVISubDetector tool for extraction and recognition of hard-burned subtitles: http://animeburg.omake.ru/avisubdetector.htm
