hi folks, i am the a real muppet when it comes to technology, so i would realy appreciate any assistance with the log file below.
i am trying to convert an avi file.
the avi file sits on my c drive and i am using my external f drive for the output as my c drive only has a few gigs left and my external f drive has a few hundred GB.

I had the same problem after installing the latest version of AVI2DVD and got the error message. I downloaded and installed the codecs and ended up with the same result - even after rebooting (just in case). Further suggestions on getting the program to work would be appreciated.

Installing a different codec appears to fix the problem - go to http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml, download and install the file and everything works fine - takes a long time though.
