Subtitle language problem?

First of all, GREAT program.

Neverless, I have a problem when adding subtitles to my avi-files. My subtitles are in danish, that include the letters ?, ? and ?. Untill now I cant get avisub to show these letters correctly. In stead of the real danish letters some strange symbols appears.

Is there some solution or is avisub completely incompatible with the danish letters ?, ? and ??

press start -> control panel -> regional language and options-> advanced->danish ok (restart)

that did not change anything. I still get strange symbols when ?, ? and ? is used in the subtitle

Did you choose the correct font charset in avisub (if you don't know what's the correct for danish - try to play with it)

I have tried to load the subtitles with every single charset, but it still shows strange symbols in the text showed in the top right corner box, when the letters ?, ? and ? is used.

I really hope there is a workout, cause this program is exactly what I was looking for.

if you open the txt/srt file with notepad what happens ?

then the subtitle is displayed correcty including the letters A, ? and

try to download this subtitle

and open it with any avi-file loaded in subavi. Then you can see the strange symbols in the top right box
