I noticed that version 1.8 of Avisub no longer supports .sub files.
Why is that?
And, what is the most simple way to convert sub to srt?

you can convert SUB to SRT with Subtitle Workshop or any other subtitle editor

old sub are now *.txt just rename it (i hope that it is an microdvd format)
