I have been trying Avi2DVD 0.4.4b for some days and I have yet to complete one DVD using it.

It did get further than this when I had Make ISO checked, it then failed at making the ISO as below.

No DVD produced.

I have cut a small section of the movie using VirtualDub so I do not have to wait a day to keep getting to this same place but I am getting absolutely no where with this, can anyone help?

I find it difficult to isolate your problem...
Try this,
1. Use KC Video Inspector to ensure that your AVI File is Valid.
2. Make sure there are no special characters in your avi input filename.
3. Uncheck Make Iso <-- Not needed
4. If your useing Subtitles, convert them to .srt (I have had no problems with .srt subs.)

If these fail Reinstall like a champ

1] Yes the AVI is valid, checked with Video Inspector.
2] No there are not as I made sure of it as I was getting problems before, there are not even any spaces in the path.
3] I have tried unchecking Make Iso and if unchecked it fails at the audio stream part and never gets anywhere near the end, but it only does that when Make Iso is not checked (?????)
4] I do not use subtitles.

This is a brand new Windows installation and is less than 2 weeks old so I certainly am not going to re-install again.

Thanks for replying. Any more suggestions?

This, of course, may not help, but..
I was having similar problems with AVIs I had made from DV recordings. I found the information at http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareAvi ... tures.html and used the codec I found from that page, and things worked ok then.

All the best,
Byron
