audio sync problem
Hi I'm new to this & have successfully managed to encode two avi file to DVD but I'm having a problem with one.
Despite trying various encoders the audio is still way out - I have had a clue from using Virtuadub as this gives a warning that the audio has been encoded as a variable bit rate
Any ideas how to overcome this??
Thanx

Audio sync
I have had the same problem, but only when I join files. I joined 6 42-min avi's (with good audio) and beginning with the second, the audio is a good full second ahead of the video. No ideas why this occurs.

junks the VBR is the main problem joining avis generally . Thats why im working on the new avi2dvd version that does NOT joins the avis but it frameserves them secuenzially. Mine class diagram on avi2dvd will change conceptually and this passage is not easy to do . i need time and i have to do testing too. All these problematics are generated by the the file joint.
I know these problematics BUT beleive me if you did this operation manually you would had THE SAME problem !!! It has nothing to do with avi2dvd but with the method used ...
Hope that this helped ...
@ALL I just opened a new sectrion radio.trustfm.com.ru with a new program which helps you to broadcast by using peercast

Thanx for that
Wasn't blaming the program as I've tried it with Ulead/Nero etc too with the same results - apologies if it came across that way.
The program is great & I've managed many conversions already
So there is no way round this at the moment then?? Or at least until this new version??

The problem is that we have many cases and i need to do it base/format indipendent and this need time. Thats all . But i will do it
