Font size

Post by argg »

Congratulations on the program, the vobsub format is a great workaround for consumer players that do not support the required code page and the text files produce garbage.

However I have a problem with the font size. When I load the text subs, I usually get the "Please use a smaller font size" message and when I do, the subtitles produced are just too small for confort.

I notice that the subtitles area does not occupy the full screen width, and I wonder if there is a way to expand it in order to accomodate larger fonts (or sentences).

Answering my own question, I managed to get acceptable font size by
dividing some long sentences, so I guess it is alright now.
Thanks again to the author of the program

well, I have converted two subtitles using the following values

These work okay in my player/TV setup but I guess everyone has to experiment for best results

hmm
Manu subtitle files have errors like too long lines, invalid characters, subtitles over two lines etc
Use subtitle workshop and make subtitle correct then you can use and bigger font size
