Movies Keep Copying Over Each Other.

Post by alison22000 »

This is the first time that I have ever used AVI2DVD. I have read the instructions that is on the website and have done every thing they say to do. I first downloaded the program off the www.gamedownloads.official.ws. The first movie converted fine, but after the first movie, the other movies seem to get joined with the last ones I have done. I don't know why this is happening, as I have renamed the files with thier original movie titles and moved them to a seperate folder ll together. The more movies i convert the more the first movie grows. The first movie I did was burned to a DVD+RW fine, then when I did the second one, I couldn't locate it, when I looked at the old one I had done, I found that the new movie was starting where the old one finished, like a massive really long movie. I have tried to look for the settings and can't find them. I have read the help file and can't find anything there that explains the problem. I have considered using a freeware file splitter, but haven't been able to get one. There was one that I use to use, where you could actually split the movie by looking at the preview on the program, but I can't remember the name of it. All the others I find are only trials, I need a freeware one. If anyone knows why this is happpening then can you email me with the subject as "Reply to AVI2DVD Question" at "alison_black1977@yahoo.com.au" Also, there is something else, when I try and burn a different file after it has been converted I get told that the frame limit has been exceeded. I think this may be because of the joining of the converted movies, but I don't know.

Ill bet that your hard drive has goten very fragmented due to all of these you have been doing. AVI2DVD is lifting stuff from the wrong portions of the disk. Delete all your folders, defrag and try again.
