Problem with output file after adding subtitle

I have tried to add subtitle to 1.36 GB avi file but output file was with size about 250 MB and the divx player cannot open it. What is the problem ?

there is some error in avi file on this particular frame
no easy solution try to reencode avi

The reason bad muxing (usualy because of using NANDUB).
The solution (works 100%) is to open the bad file with VirtualdubMOD and resave it with Direct stream copy option

robert7 has right ! nandub always creates a lot of problems since is outdated !
