Updating HCenc from 0.18 to 0.20?

Hi there, just wondering...when you download avi2dvd 0.4.4 beta it comes with HCenc 0.18 as default in the programs folder. Is it recommended/safe to download the latest version of HCenc 0.20 and swap it with the original one that came with avi2dvd.

I thought this may help the performance of the encoding, would it be a good thing to do or is there no point...i just like having the latest versions of everything. lol

Any comments realting to this issue would be much appreciated.

I did this the other day (replaced 0.18 with 0.20) and it worked fine.
(Just re-label the old Henc folder to eg 'HCEncold' so you can easily restore it if need be).

Cool...thanks 4 the reply, i mite just update it now to 0.20 when i got time.
