I have found out that it doesn't matter what version of avi2dvd you use, you will still get that problem. I have been able to prove to myself, that some of the avi files you download of P2P programs or even membership file download systems like ares ultra. Some of the movies may have been encoded with an unknown format where avi2dvd doesn't recognise. I was able to prove this due to the problem I had with the visual and sound synch, and most of my movies converted fine, it was only a small handfull that had the problem. When it first started happening, I kept trying to convert the same movies that where failing and with no sucess. Then I tried to convert a different download of the same movie and it worked fine. I don't understand how this happens, but it does and I may have finally worked out why, but it still doesn't help us out with repairing it so it will always work. I have always been told to reinstall or use different versions of avi2dvd, but the problem still occurs for the same movies no matter what you do. Does any of this make sense. I hope so, Take Care.
