NO audiostream.. pls help

Post by nicekit »

hi guys

i have tried all the solutions provided in the sticky...
from removing Avi2DVD and reinstalling
to cleaning registry

but i still can see the audiostream of this particular MKV file..
when i check.. it is Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz 6ch [Audio] *under Windows Media Player Classic*
Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 1280x720 29.97fps [Video]
file location: E:\victoria.mkv

film information is loaded properly only no Audiostream..
so i cannot convert the file to DVD...

Please help?

hmmm.... I know I get this problem with AVI's that the video and audio are not interleaved. but I'm not to familluar with the mkv format. but thats probably not it.
I did a search and found this program that might be able to help you figure out whats wrong with the file.
MatroskaDiag the site said this about the program it will help diagnose most DirectShow related problems when trying to play a Matroska(MKV) file.
you might have to seprate the files and then rejoin them.....using MKVExtractGUI and MKVtoolnix

Hope this helps you out.
