GrblDroid
Hi all
Samsung Note 4
Arduino Uno
Grbl 0.9
I've installed GrblDroid and connect It with my OTG Adapter to my Arduino Uno.
The App starts and I can do a Connect.
IT finds Grbl Version 0.9...
Now i send eg. $ and GrblDroid returns "Command $" ...thats it...no other Output.
I can also see no Reaction from Tx Rx from
Arduino Board.
Wen it is helpfull i send you Screenshots.

Test it on my old Note 2 with the same Otg kabel and it works ...cool !
Could it be the Screen Resolution from my Note 4 Edge ?

Re: GrblDroid
Is the Note 4 Edge OTG capable ?
No has nothing todo with the resolution ... :S
Anyway test it with your working device using the "simple mode" and then if you really need this application use it under a dedicated fixed tablet that can handle DC charge AND OTG at the same time.
They cost about 40$ at ebay.
Another tip :
GRBLDroid is compiled with the latest android studio so the newer devices are supported

Re: GrblDroid
An update ...
I had a request about doing this app usable under bluetooth.
Maybe i will do a bluetooth version of GRBLDroid but i do not know when .
Notice that i have already ordered HC-05 bluetooth shields but i do not have them in hand right now.
Anyway even if i do a bluetooth version the cable version is way more secure and stable.
Let me know if you machined anything using simple and/or advanced mode so i can debug if there are any further problems on code sending ...
