AVI2DVD Avi To DVD Convert Performance

I have been converting AVI (DIVX'S ) To DVD for a while and i thought you would like to know some info about converting Performance.

Well all of my converting with avi2dvd Program i used Cinema Craft Encoder SP Version 2.67.00.27

Here are the result of converting 1.4GB avi file.

Pentium 4 1.7Ghz 1GB Memory 7 Hours and 21Min

Pentium 4 3.0Ghz 512MB Memory 5 Hours and 7Min

Pentium 4 3.0Ghz 1GB Memory 4 Hours and 43Min

Pentium 4 3.2Ghz 1GB Memory DDR-2 533MHZ 3 Hours and 45Min

Pentium 4 Dual Core (930) 3.0Ghz 4GB Memory DDR-2 533MHZ 2 Hours and 30Min

I soon gona test it with 4GB MEMORY of 667MHZ and after that with Raid 0 with S-ATA .

Hi guys!, here is what I got using a Thinkpad T60...

Pentium Centrino Duo 1.83 Mhz, 512 Mb.... 1 hour 36 minutes

I have had a hell of a time trying to find a version that works with AVI2DVD

I dont have torrent so try to find it on emule

On my computer (Celeron D 2,4GHz, 1GB RAM Dual Channel) 1,4GB file (xvid, playing time 1:45) conversion to DVD took 4 hours (using QuEnc with options: VBR, high quality, 2 pass).

Have anyone tested how long would it take with Core 2 Duo E6300?
