2 AVI files into 1 DVD, with a chapters for each avi file???

Post by bugadifino »

G'day all

This is my first time ever trying to do a DVD, so please forgive my ignorance.

What I want to do is load 2 avi files of my sisters wedding & turn them into a dvd for her with 2 chapters corresponding to the 2 avi files. I thought I had done this but only 1 avi file showed up on the dvd & there were 4 chapters that corresponded with time.

Is what I want to do possible?
PLEASE can some one help me to have a go.

First thing, you should name the files according to the requirement for Avi2Dvd.

They should be named Something CD1.avi, Something CD2.avi, Something CD3.avi and so on.

This is the only way for the program to know that you want to join these parts into one video and processed into one dvd.

Now, the problem is if you have videos of different resolution or frame rate, then you should look at other programs that allows multi track dvd creation. TmpgEnc can do that i think
