HI ..HAS ANYONE HAD THIS ERROR. EVERYTIME i LOAD A VIDEO FILE I GET THIS ACCESS VIOLATION ERROR.

Yep, first check your codecs xvid, divx, ac3 filter ect!

This seems to be an error that no one can find an answer to. I have all the codecs but the thing still wont run. maybe the program is too old to keep up with the codecs? I used to love this program - its the best one i have found. But now i cant even use it because of this error. Tell me how to do a graphedit and i will send it in along with the other people that i have seen submitting them on this forum. Since there is a lack of programs out there with the ability to do what this one does then i will just have to wait until this is sorted out.

Since there are multiple topics, I'm reposting.

I just had the same problem and was able to fix it.

1. Uninstall the program and clean the registry from it. Registry mechanic works well.
2. Restart and delete the folder in program files.
3. Reinstall your codecs, such as ffdshow, which is a very nice pack. This is for a sure measure that the codecs are recognized.
4. Reinstall the program which has the some of the codecs in it too.
Hopefully that works for you guys cause that's what I did after getting that Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000.
