UPDATE:
Version 1.2 works great with Philips DVP5960
Thank you so much for this great tool!
I have used VobsubMuxer to combine two vobsub subtitles. However, the resulted subtitle will not show on a Philips DVP5960 player.
After some tests, I was able to pinpoint to the problem:
DVP5960 simply does not like the .idx file to have UPPERCASE letters in file positions.
For example:
This is OK:
timestamp: 00:25:41:145, filepos: 0000cf000
This is not OK:
timestamp: 00:25:41:145, filepos: 0000CF000
I suspect other players will have similar problems due to the use of similar chips.
So it would be great if you could include a fix in the next release.
BTW, this problem doesn't affect playback with KMP or other software.

works great in my player, which is a rapsody rsh-300
2 subs, converted by txt2vobsub from .srt, then muxed with vobsubmuxer.
you can switch between them while playing the movie, and even can change the size and colour of the fonts (i guess this is my player capabilities)
