I just recently started using Avi2Dvd and have to say I'm most impressed.
At first I had some problems with HCenc (certainly one of the best encoders out there). For some reason it would never complete. I solved this by getting V 0.21 and substituting this in the HCenc folder, problem solved. I had some audio sync problems, this was easily solved by running the AVIs (also do any AVI combining in it also) through the standalone version of AVI-Mux GUI. Again problem solved.
As a side note I would like to know which app Avi2Dvd uses to generate it's Avisynth scripts, they are perfect. I usually use FitCD but those scripts are always off a bit (usually the vertical resolution).
The only feature I would like to see added is the ability to add a border of a block or 2, ala FitCD, to deal with any excessive overscan issues.
Thanks to all responsible for a great app.

i added it to my TO DO list ...
Right now i am re-writing AVi2dvd more modular (it will be a lot better) Branch versions 1.XX but i will keep the brach 0.XX for some time .These days i will pubblish 0.4.5 version with small bugfixes . You have to understand that all the new feautures will be added on the new branch only 1.XX and i need time to release it since the code has been written from scratch.
Right now i am at 65% of the code .. hope you can understand ....
