I have this vietnamese srt file using Windows 1258 codepage.
Notepad opens and displays the contents all right (i can find "Vietnamese" in the Script pulldown menu in Notepad)

I have to add that this subtitle file works fine with media players (KMPlayer and others)

Yet, somehow Txt2vobsub will not have it displayed right in the preview panel while it is still ok in the list of subtitle lines (upper right corner)

To my dismay, i can not find Vietnamese in the font charset pulldown menu.

I tried "MAC" charset instead, it worked in some xp system while in other xp system (similar settings) it doesn't.

What should I do?

try other Font charsets instead of the DEFAULT value like ANSI.
If the problem insists try another Font.
Tell me what you got !
Thanks !

I've tried ALL font charsets. The ONLY charset that works on some xp systems is MAC.
My problem is i'm using the pc where even setting MAC as font charset doesn't work.

I would love to see "Vietnamese" in the font charset list in new versions.

Lovely.

It works like a charm now. Thank you so much.
Hope this will be reflected in AVISUB as well.

Regards.
