What does this error message mean?

I want to convert a perfectly normal .srt file to .idx/.sub but Text2VobSub won't do it and complain by giving me the error "Unsupported subtitle format!".

does not have the srt structure or the timecodes are wrong (overlapped)
Download another srt

Or you open the srt with Notepad and save it as a new srt file, making sure that "ANSI" is selected in the Encoding pulldown menu.
