Hello, just joined this forum. I am a programmer from Cardiff, South Wales (part of the UK).
I am using Folder2iso fairly regularly, it's great and I have just upgraded it (from v1.5 to 1.7). But I do have one important point of feedback. (Please excuse me if this has already been fixed in v1.7, I haven't tried it yet.) When a file name is too long and needs to be chopped, it's chopping the extension. For example, here's a silly filename:
This is a long file name but still needs to be an MP3 file so it's recognised as something playable.MP3
If this is too long it might get chopped to:
This is a long file name but still needs to be an MP3 file so it's recog
This is no good since the truncated filename is not recog Could we have it so the extension at least is preserved? In the case above we would then have the name chopped to:
This is a long file name but still needs to be an MP3 file so it's r.MP3
