this is the very first time i have used this program. i think i did everything right, according to the guide. when i hit "go" it would run for less then a min then it gives me this error msg.
could not read from audio source 1. although the end of the stream has not been reached yet. a reaason could be bad frame headers.
i have burnt this w/ nero and it works. i just wanted a copy w/subtitles
thanks for any suggestions.

same problem with a 5 channel AC3 movie
I get the exact error message that ktdragon21 reported getting, "could not read from audio source 1. although the end of the stream has not been reached yet. a reaason could be bad frame headers", when running AVI2DVD with two DivX video files together. I get this message at the point when AVI2DVD is merging the two files together, and it has reached the end of the first file. After clicking OK... it converts the video ok... and makes a playable .tso file, etc... however, it only includes the first file--hence the movie ends half-way through.
I used one of trustfm's guides I saw that he posted, about using VirtualDubMod to change the stream settings, and then "save as" the files. This works, when I load the converted avi's and run them through AVI2DVD, but the audio in the converted avi files are no longer 5 channel AC3, but just .wav stereo. Can anyone please offer some advice? I've run DivFix as well as the VirtualDubMod's scan for errors (although I think both only scan video streams, not audio streams)
I would just like to be able to maintain the ac3 5 channel sound quality. Anyone know of anyway to fix a potentially bad sound stream frame header?
I still can't get the menu's to work either...
Thanks trustfm for making such a cool program--especially for free!

any solution yet???
i get the same thing - dies with "could not read from audio source 1" msg when trying to join to AVIs.
Each one seperately works fine. I have used avi2dvd before and it has always worked (other than an issue with distorting AC3 tracks) - but not now. Not sure if it is my AVIs or i have added some new codec to the mix or something similar. I guess i need to try with another dual ac3 avi.
