Slow audio when converting from AVI to DVD

Greets!!!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've converted an AVI file to DVD. The video turned out fine but the audio is very slow and lagging behind (people's voices sound very deep!). Can anyone point me in the right direction to fixing this problem? I combed the forum for an answer but I didn't find one.

Could this be a codec problem? Did I maybe not set some parameter right before converting?

Thanks in advance

The audio is not low, it's slow and peoples voices sound very deep. I haven't burnt it onto DVD yet but I imagine that the problem would still be there while viewing it on a stand alone DVD player. Also; I don't know if this would have anything to do with it but the file I tried converting is an Xvid file.

Thanks

I think is a fps conversion problem.

I have the same problem with a 30 fps AVI ..... I think that the problem comes in converting 30 fps to 25 fps AVIs. I've read about that in others forums and on fps conversion is very difficult to have good results ..... The same for 23 fps to 25 fps conversion but better results that 30 to 25. I've tested that clicking the ntsc to pal option but no good result (very slow audio).

I use 0.4.1 version because is the stablest for me. With the latest (0.4.3)
i have many problems on converting AC3 AVIs .... but anyway, great tool.
Please, keep on rocking us with new releases !!

Thanks in advance
