Audio/Video out of sync, but original ok ?

Hiya peeps
First off, gratz to all concerned, great, easy to use prog, thanks from
the end user...
I have a problem with audio/video running out of sync while converting.
I have checked the original avi file at the same point I first saw it in the
converted DVD, and on the avi file it is fine, yet after conversion it has
run out of sync, just wondered if theres anything can be done to remedy
this, appreciate any help given.
