Failure to Mux Audio and Video files

Apologies if this has been answered in another post, I've a good look and didn't find an exact match or answer. Appreciate any guidance anyone can provide.

BTW thanks to the author for a great program, I've had very good luck using this program, its brilliant! I love the music as well :P

I've recently upgraded to version 0.4.3. My avi conversion is failing for one AVI file when muxing the audio and video files. I've tried it twice using QuEnc and once using NuEnc. When using NuEnc I got a debug.log file that had these two messages inside:

[mpeg2video @ 6551400C]Error: 2pass curve failed to converge
[mpeg2video @ 6551400C]Error: The requested bitrate is too high! Target size is now 1491353kbytes

Here is the AVI2DVD_log file output:

Thank you. I will try it.
When I went to version 0.4.3 I did a full uninstall and I assume that is best practice. Is there anthing I need to do to save my menus created in 0.4.3 prior to installing 0.4.4?

I have tried both 0.4.3 and 0.4.4. I get the same problem. I have a 16x9 AVI NTSC file which plays in WMP. No matter which encoder I choose I get the same result:

[12:08:02 AM] Muxing Video+Audio(s) ...
[12:08:03 AM] M2v muxed successfully !
[C:\Movies\Avi2dvd_temp\Encoded_Video_Muxed.mpg -1

FWIW, NeroVision gets nmc_processing_exception and Roxio EMC8 can't even find the audio, so you are in good company.

Ok. So installing version 0.4.4 (clean install) has resolved the problem described in my original post. The file converted ok and seems to be the correct size. I have previewed it in WMP, its all ok!!
