got sound, but no sound in dvd player

when i play the dvd in my dvd drive on my computer it plays with sound, but when i play it with my dvd player it plays without sound
two types of sound this is what virtualdubmod says they are before i process them:
AVI audio stream(tag 0x0055, MPEG - 1 Layer 3 (mp3))
Ogg vorbris audio stream
