Join to avi files - error (1st step when having 2 avi's)
What to do with this error? Got this error when avi2dvd does the first step. Join two avi files, 'moviename cdx.avi'
since you only posted 1/2 of your error msg, I am guessing that it is stopping when trying to join up two avi files, saying something about different framerates? I have gotten a similar message while attempting the same thing.
I ended up using SVCD2DVD for that project, which processes the fiules differently, & it worked fine.

hmm..weird you msg displays fine now. Yes I have gotten the same message about bad frame headers, so I used SVCD2DVD on it, since it processes each file seperately before joining them, so their framerates are matched before they are joined. There is probably a way to fix it, but I'm not aware of how to do so.

Weird, loaded both avi's in GSpot, it says the framerate is the same (23.97)
Another solution is to join the 2 avi's manually? When i try this with virtualdub i dont have sound in the joined avi file. Maybe this happens because the file has AC3 sound.
Is there a way to join the files manually with virtualdub and with AC3 sound. It is a bit pity(?) to make 2CH stereo sound from 448 kb/s (5 ch) CBR.
sorry for my 'bad' english
