7.5.3 Live Search submission

Live, the Microsoft's search engine is the third most important search engine worldwide, if you want to confirm this information just take a look at the top 100 websites at Alexa.com . Go to webmaster.live.com and press the 'Sign in to use the Tools' button. Figure fig:59

Once again you have to log in. If you do not have a live account just create one for free. Now log in and give your url and your sitemap. (take a look at the figure fig:60

Now you need to do your website authentication.

Microsoft gives you a code and you have to paste it to an empty txt file and then rename that file to LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml. Upload LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml to your website's root and then press the OK button. Figure fig:61

Once you have authenticated your website just click on your website like the figure fig:62
Now press 'Sitemap' give your url sitemap and finally press the 'Submit' button. Figure fig:63
